Picasa vs Flickr

I know couple of portals where you can upload pics but then each one of them have their own pros and cons. Flickr is good, but it has limitation on number of albums you can create. Then I found Picasa. Here are my observations:

Things I like about Picasa:
No limitation on number of sets/albums you create.
Really coooool desktop image manager.
Single sign-on (just use your Google password, I am already using gtalk, gmail, blogger.com, orkut etc).
If I am not wrong, Picasa provides 1 gig of storage which is far more as compared to Flickr.

Things i dislike about Picasa:
You can not create tags
Unlike Flickr, Picasa doesn't expose any APIs. (Checkout second screenshot of Ruby on Rails website:http://www.rubyonrails.org/screencasts)
****Updated--Picasa now exposes APIs. I'll have a look at it and blog about it later.******

Interesting observation:
I don't know if this is really Seregy and Larry:D http://picasaweb.google.com/sergey.brin http://picasaweb.google.com/larry.page
I am still to have a closer look at Picasa and flickr. I'll update this blog if I find anything new. Checkout my first album of 17 Miles drive :D
